Kristian Luuk talks to Tomas Andersson Wij about his new book. Tomas has promised to bring the guitar and the piano is in place.
Tomas Andersson Wij distinguish himself as one of our most loving writers. With a sharp eye on the signs of time, in conversation about art, politics and life issues, he has met a number of cultural personalities – from authors and musicians to comedians, photographers and religious leaders.
During the nineties, Tomas Andersson Wij wrote for, among other things, Nöjesguiden and SvD City. At the same time, hi started his own appearance as an artist, and the search that characterized the articles also shaped his song lyrics. During the next decade he conquered the slow conversation in deep interviews at Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra. In dialogue with his guests, he takes a unique position between journalist and artist.
The book contains a selection of interviews and texts from the beginning of the nineties until today. Among the interviewees are Lars Norén, Bodil Malmsten, Henrik Schyffert, Veronica Maggio, Olle Adolphson and Klas Östergren.
