Tea at Five
Meet Teresia Pettersson in the role of Katharine Hepburn in the show Tea at Five on Ö2. Here you can order the poster!
Katharine Hepburn, an actress with more Oscar’s figurines than anyone else and a professional life that stretched over 60 years. “To be a star” was her bold obvious goal. Hepburn took early control of his career, took risks and made demands like no other. Her independence stuck in a film industry that did not reward strong independent women. It made her, of course, debated.
In “Tea at five” – a monologue by Matthew Lombardo, we meet Hepburn’s inspiring, independent, intelligent and amazing person. We step into the 31-year-old Katharine’s life when her 1938 career is down, a period that has been nicknamed “Box office poison”. She waits for a call to see if she has been given the role of Scarlett O’Hara… .The play extends until 1983 when disease puts its mark in Hepburn’s hands shaking but her eyes shine on intelligence and wit. A funny and gripping monologue .
