Sveriges Kortfilmfestival 2019

Sveriges Kortfilmfestival 2019 – Sweden’s Short Film Festival – takes place at Bio Rio and Skärisbiografen in Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Skärholmen. This year’s festival will be the 62nd, which also makes Sveriges Kortfilmsfestival Sweden’s oldest film festival. Here you can order the poster from this year’s festival!

The theme for this year is coexistence. Coexistence can be interpreted in many different ways. The planet earth coexists with all the planets and celestial bodies of the universe. We humans coexist with all living organisms and beings like animals and nature. Side by side we live in our similarities and differences when it comes to origin, economic conditions, political opinions, wills, habits, interests and much more. Coexistence can also aim at power relations and cohabitation between individuals, within societies and between countries. As individuals, we are also left in this world to co-exist with ourselves in one way or another.

At the Sveriges Kortfilmfestival 2019 you will see a great variety and diversity on this year’s theme of coexistence. SKFF is a festival that creates opportunities for everyone to show their films and compete, attend seminars and lectures. Within the competition there are three competition classes; Individual, Film School and Minute film.

The festival starts already on Friday at 1 pm at Bio Rio where it continues the whole Saturday and then ends at Skärisbiografen on Sunday.
