“The most revolutionary thing one can do is always to proclaim loudly what is happening.” – Rosa Luxemburg.

Josefin Ankarberg has created the script and is the director of the show Röd rödare Rosa about the activist and writer Rosa Luxemburg (1871-1919).
Actors: Anders Berg, Sara Turpin and Elin Skarin.
Rosa Luxemburg dreamed of a revolutionary social democracy and fought for international solidarity when others fought for national pride and were arming them selves for world war. She was a Polish jew who, at a time when women still lacked voting rights, started new socialist parties and traveled Europe and spoke to huge crowds. She agitated for the people to always be driving in a revolution, about the power of mass strikes and that workers should never be forced to shoot at each other. For that she was imprisoned a number of times and she was locked in almost during the whole World War I. The performance is based in part on the vast amount of letters she wrote during prison times, with musical elements and astounding burns.
