Iiris Viljanen, Resina & Shida Shahabi

, Birger Jarlsgatan 32, Stockholm

Sing a song fighter & fat cat / 130701 warmly presents a whole night with three exceptional artists and their instruments:

Three solo performances – Iiris Viljanen, Resina and Shida Shahabi.

The Swedish record company sing a song fighter, along with the UK label fat cat / 130701, will release Shida Shahabi’s instrumental piano album debut “Homes” on October 19th.  More about Shida Shahabi

And to celebrate this amazing album, what would be better than inviting Shida to give a concert on Rönnells day before the album comes? This idea quickly grew to also invite Dave Howell (who runs the UK label mentioned above) and make a kind of “label night” where both record companies present their artists.

The Polish cellist Resina, who recently released the acclaimed “traces” album, will perform one of her appreciated solo concerts this evening (she has recently opened for Godspeed you black emperor). More about Resina

And Iiris Viljan who released the magic solo piano album “Kiss me, stupid & 7 more solo piano pieces” the other year on sing a song fighter will perform an exclusive solo piano set (her only for this year) with some new material.

As if these three fabulous women are not enough, Dave Howell will do one of his popular field recordings DJ sets before, between and after the concerts.

Shida Shahabi’s vinyl album will be available for sale here (be the first to buy it in the world! Officially released the following day)
