Balkan New Film Festival 2019

The Balkan New Film Festival welcomes you to the eighth edition of BaNeFF.
Balkan New Film Festival 2019 is the largest film festival showing films from the Balkans and the neighborhood outside the Balkans region, or related to the Balkans. BaNeFF 2019 proudly presents this year’s films – with Stockholm premieres – at the cinema Zita in Stockholm.

BaNeFF presents the latest films from the Balkans. The audience will meet both an exciting mix of newly produced, Swedish premieres, single classics and pure documentary films, as well as interesting guests and a series of panels that discuss trends in film production in the Balkans.
The contributions compete in four categories: best film, best female performance, audience prize and the festival’s special prize. This year we are continuing with the new concept SNOWE South North West East – SNOWE – Women in Film, Creative Networking.

All movies are subtitled in English or Swedish.
