Artistic Undressings of The Royal Seaport is an art program on sustainable urban development in five acts. The first act of ‘Earth’ culminates in a two-day program on May 18th-19th, 2019.

ACT 1: EARTH
For two days we think together on our relationship to the earth – it does not need us but we need it. The weekend begins with a marathon of walks digging into one of the world’s largest sustainable neighborhoods – Norra Djurgårdsstaden (The Royal Seaport). In what way is it sustainable and what does it say about us and our time? This marathon of walks is known as Power walks. It is led by six guests with a deep knowledge of the area’s evolution and its dependencies. The marathon ends at the inauguration of Sara Söderberg’s work at Husarviken. “Köttet av en kvinnlig gud” (“The Flesh of a female god”) looks at the use of materials in the building of The Royal Seaport and asks questions about who gets to form the city. On Sunday May 19, we conclude with the Earth Market – a discussion festival at Strömparterren with over twenty table holders, three films and a stage for panel discussions.
