Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra
Here you will find posters from selected plays on Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra, which is a theatre in Stockholm, started by Allan Edwall. After his death in 1997, the theatre was continued by Kristina Lugn and since 2011 it is Kristina Lugn’s daughter Martina Montelius who is artistic leader.
The theatre was founded in 1986 by Allan Edwall who wanted a theatre focused on classical texts, which he then processed to adapt to the scene. Most often, these were performed as monologues. Among the performances set up by Edwall were: King Oidipus of Sofokles, Doctor Glass of Hjalmar Söderberg, Kafka Better Without Dog and The Mild of Fjodor Dostoevsky.
After Edwall’s death in 1997, Kristina Lugn took over as an artistic director and the theatre was transformed into an ideal society.
In 2011 Kristina Lugn’s daughter Martina Montelius took over and is today the artist’s leader of Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra.
