Sveriges Kortfilmfestival – Sweden’s Short Film Festival – SKFF is Sweden’s oldest film festival, which is held every year in Stockholm by Sveriges Film- och Videoförbund – The Swedish Film and Video Association. SKFF is a festival that creates opportunities for everyone to show their films and compete, attend seminars and lectures. Within the competition there are three competition classes; Individual, Film School and Minute Film.
The aim of the short film festival is to pay tribute to Sweden’s best non-commercial short films with national intake, that is, films that are primarily made for artistic and non-commercial purposes, and to create dialogue and stimulate exchanges between film enthusiasts regardless of level. It is also important for Sveriges Kortfilmfestival to create links between everyone in Sweden, regardless of the background, to show together the diversity in film culture.
